The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the next exciting step after completing the Open Water Diver certification. It is designed to help divers develop their skills through so-calledadventure dives and gain more confidence underwater.

This course is suitable for both newly certified Open Water Divers and more experienced divers. Under the supervision of our professional diving instructors, you will be guided through various training areas and diving environments.

If you are already a certified Open Water Diver, you only need to completetwo mandatory dives (Deep & Navigation) andthree optional adventure dives to earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is a great way to further improve your scuba diving skills and qualify for more advanced dives, including safari and deeper dives.

Course Contents

The course consists of5 adventure dives completed over2 days.

• Mandatory Dives: Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation.
• Optional Dives: Choose three adventure dives based on your interests.
• Examples include wreck diving, drift diving, night diving, perfect buoyancy, fish identification, or underwater photography.
• Learn how to plan safe dives and dive at depths of22–30 meters, considering physiological effects and underwater challenges.
• The underwater navigation dive teaches you how to orient yourself safely underwater using natural references and a compass.

Course Requirements

• PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
• Minimum age: 12 years
• Normal swimming skills
• Good physical condition
