Snorkeling in the Red Sea – Hurghada

The Red Sea near Hurghada in Egypt offers a fantastic underwater panorama with beautiful coral reefs and a great variety of colorful fish. For those who prefer snorkeling over scuba diving, Diving Hurghada is the perfect place to be.

We take you on a day tour along shallow reefs that are easily reachable by boat. Snorkeling is a truly fun experience as you explore stunning coral gardens, schools of fish, and clownfish anemones up close.

If you feel more comfortable snorkeling in company, simply inform the guide on the boat. Our snorkel guide will be happy to join you and show you the best spots underwater.

Onboard Experience

Between snorkeling sessions, you can relax and enjoy a freshly cooked lunch served in the spacious onboard salon. A wide selection of life jackets, fins, and masks is available on board, and you are welcome to bring your own snorkeling equipment if you prefer.

Please respect the marine environment — do not touch the corals or marine life. Just enjoy the beauty of the sea.

What Is Snorkeling? Helpful Tips

The key to successful snorkeling is feeling comfortable and relaxed in the water. Practice improves both your confidence and enjoyment.

• Make sure your mask fits well and seals properly when you inhale through your nose.
• Choose fins that fit comfortably — not too tight and not too loose.
• Kick gently from your hips while keeping knees and ankles relaxed.
• Practice breathing through the snorkel before entering the water.
• Place the mouthpiece comfortably in your mouth without biting down.
